Summer Medical and Dental Educational Program: Summer 2012 • Six weeks of intense course work, clinical rotations, case study discussions, learning skills seminar, and addressing social determinants of health. Grant writing for Bio-SCI: Bioscience Communication Initiative: Winter 2013 • Worked on writing a grant with Dr. Jeannie Chowning Bio-SCI: Bioscience Communication Initiative, and our goal is to use some of the bioethics discussion strategies that we use in our bioethics lessons to help scientists and the public talk to each about complex science topics like genetic testing.
