I am a tutor who likes to work with a variety of different age groups and abilities. I have worked with students at the elementary level, as well as high school students. I have also been a substitute teacher for five years. To be able to help a student understand and gain a new skill set is the best feeling I have ever had as a teacher.I offer tutoring in German 1-3, Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Phonics, Literature, Grammar and Mechanics, College Essays, American History, European History, Geography, Public Speaking, German, English, Linguistics, United States History, Social Studies, Elementary Math, Science for 1st-7th Grade, Languages, Study Skills, AP classes, and test prep, which includes the GED, SAT, PSAT, and SSAT.I graduated from the University of Washington, where I earned a B.A. in Linguistics. I also attended Eastern Washington University, where I earned my master's degree in Education, as well as a kindergarten to 8th grade teaching certification, with a concentration in Elementary Education.When I'm not busy teaching, I love to listen to music, cook good food, and spend time with my pet dog.
