I am currently a junior at Seattle Pacific University, where I am focusing on political science. I have a concentration of international affairs, as well as public policy and law. I am working on obtaining my bachelor's degree. Over the years, I have been able to tutor and mentor students from elementary schools.I make sure that I am tailoring my style of tutoring to the individual needs of the student. I also make sure that my students feel encouraged and are therefore, comfortable. I remember struggling in school and finally finding what worked for me. I enjoy sharing that knowledge with my students.I love to tutor in reading, writing, math, and study skills and organization the most. This is because I have always received wonderful results from my students when I helped them with these courses.I am able to help students in a wide variety of subjects. Some of these include elementary math, Spanish, reading, writing, American history, summer tutoring, study skills and organization, and middle school math. I also do well with English, all levels of algebra, geography, and social Studies.When I find free time for myself I like to enjoy volleyball. I am also very involved with many leadership activities.
