Private tutor in Seattle, WA
Education
University of Washington - BA, Philosophy
Experience
I have had the privilege of being exposed to a variety of teaching and learning styles which gives me a great advantage when working with students. Hello everyone, my name is Michael, and I am a graduate of the University of Washington, holding a degree in philosophy with my minor being in mathematics. I appreciate the fact that different people excel at different subjects and because of this may think differently. Just because a student is good at one thing doesn't mean he or she will be good at another. I try to always keep this in mind when working with students. I believe that the best way of tutoring is to find a teaching style that is appropriate for the individual student. Currently I live in Seattle, Washington and can tutor students in the subjects of algebra, calculus, geometry, elementary math, middle school math, pre-calculus, trigonometry, biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, physics, Spanish, writing, college essay writing and editing, arithmetic, pre-algebra, English, MCAT preparation, math, and science. In my free time I enjoy climbing, volleyball, and philosophy.
