Experience
I completed my PhD at the University of Washington in Spring of 2015. During that time I taught and tutored students in a variety of subjects, including Environmental Sociology, Probability and Statistics, and Social Psychology. Since High School, I have tutored students in math, with a focus on algebra and geometry. I started my graduate program with an interest in research and quickly learned that my true passion lies in teaching. My favorite parts of graduate school were those when I was able to teach classes on my own and connect with students to help them understand and enjoy the subject matter. I strongly believe that every individual is capable of success, and it is important to me that students gain confidence in their ability to excel in whatever pursuit they choose to undertake.
