I am a freshman at Seattle Pacific University. I am currently pursuing a communications major and a theology minor.
Experience
My experience with children comes primarily from working in junior high ministry at my church and leading an eighth grade Bible study there, however I have also worked with younger children as a party hostess. I scored a 2080 my first time taking the SAT as a junior and scored a 5 on the AP Composition test, so any assistance with either of those tests I am willing to give! Tutoring appeals to me because I understand that not everyone learns the same way and that some are much stronger at some subjects than others. I realize that individual attention helped motivate me in more challenging times through school and was grateful for hands-on tutoring I received in pre-Calculus and chemistry, so I'd love to use my own strengths in lower levels of math and English to assist others! I have taken a private SAT course as well, so I feel prepared to show others the ropes of taking the test.
