I am a Pacific Northwest native and am currently studying at the University of Washington. I will graduate with a degree in Biochemistry. I am fascinated with the subject and enjoy learning about the chemistry involved with the many complex processes happening in our bodies. My goal is to further my studies in a research lab following graduation. In addition to my fondness for chemistry, I also enjoy tutoring mathematics. I am very skilled at math, especially calculus, and excelled in that subject all the way through college. I reveled in the accomplishment of working through long and complicated problems and reaching a solution. I have tutored a wide variety of students with as many different learning styles and individual perspectives on subject matter. I am very personable and dedicated to the tutoring process and it is my goal to be sure students enjoy learning and come away with a full understanding of a subject. I always make sure my students are completely comfortable with the material and are confident in their ability to move ahead to other levels, in new subject matter and in their professional and personal lives. I enjoy hiking, running, reading, playing soccer, and watching sports.
