I love to learn, and I want my students to feel the same way. It is my belief that when subjects are fun and enjoyable, learning becomes something that the student looks forward to, and less of a burden. I know everyone learns differently, and I enjoy making it as fun as possible for all involved!I have worked as a tutor for a school, where I did after-hours tutoring, and I also worked with AmeriCorps City Year program, helping over thirty students work their way through the first two years of high school.I offer tutoring in Algebra 1-2, Geometry, Elementary and Middle School Math, Reading, Spanish 1-3, Writing, Phonics, Literature, Grammar and Mechanics, American History, European History, Geography, Pre-Algebra, Public Speaking, Religious Studies, Math, Social Studies, and test prep for the ISEE, PSAT, SSAT, and SAT. Additionally, I can assists students with essay writing and editing.I attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.In my free time, I love to record, write, and perform music. I also enjoy reading a good book, as well as painting. Creativity aside, I am very active, and love to play soccer and basketball.
