I am attending graduate school at the University of Washington, where I am working towards my master's in physics. I have more than ten years' experience tutoring and teaching. My most recent experience was working as a high school teacher at a private academy, where I taught classroom lessons as well as private, one-on-one sessions.As a teacher, I had experience teaching all of the science classes, including advanced classes, environmental science, and computer programming. Furthermore, I taught all the levels of math as well. My other responsibilities included customizing lessons plans, designing curriculum, and creating tests and homework assignments.I have tutored a number of subjects, including all levels of physics, chemistry, along with physical and organic chemistry, and biology. I have also taught high school math, calculus, statistics, and differential equations. Finally, I have experience helping students prepare for a number of standardized tests, including the ACT, SAT, MCAT, and GRE.While I am specialized in teaching science and mathematics, I have a general understanding in a number of subjects, and I am more than qualified to teach reading, writing, and literature. In my spare time, I love playing games that stimulate my mind, such as word games and trivia. I also like to stay active through running.
