Private tutor in Seattle, WA
I am a senior Biology major/ Chemistry minor at Seattle University with a 3.8 GPA. I am also an active track and field athlete and personal trainer at my university's gym. I enjoy my role as a member of the Seattle University pre-health club as well.
I've worked as a math and science tutor for all different ages. I approach tutoring with authority, but I aim to foster an open, discussion-based environment that increases the client's inherent academic curiosity in addition to their grades and test scores. I believe the pursuit and sharing of knowledge is essential to fully living your life! I scored a 5 on my AP English language and composition exam, in addition to a 700 and a 680 on my SAT Math and Critical Reading sections, respectively. My latest tutor experience was volunteering at an at-risk elementary school, tutoring children on math and reading homework.

I love enjoying the mild Seattle weather- be it lounging with a book at a mom-and-pop coffee shop on a rainy day, or taking advantage of the shy sun and going hiking in the wilder regions accompanying the city. My favorite thing is to learn- I spend my life figuring out how things work, applying studies to life, and working with peers to discover new ways to understand the mysteries around us. This could take form as facilitating peer study groups or finding how to best tweak a pumpkin muffin recipe on a Saturday morning with friends!
