Experience
My tutoring experience is unparalleled, and I believe I can offer an empathetic and effective service that few other teachers can provide. My distinctive experience comes through recently completing my Master of Public Administration degree from the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance at the University of Washington. Prior to that, I studied political science as an undergraduate at the University of Washington. Those two degrees have given me extensive knowledge of economics, statistics, data analysis, leadership, environmental policy, world history, American history, government studies, and political science college courses. Also, as a graduate student, I sharpened my skills in critical analysis and writing. I can offer my students tutoring services in elementary and middle school math, reading, writing, pre-algebra, algebra 1, algebra 2, French, grammar and mechanics, social studies, geography, public speaking, English, editing, AP U.S. History, AP U.S. Government & Politics, AP Comparative Government and Politics, IB Geography HL, IB Geography SL, IB Global Politics HL, IB Global Politics SL, IB History HL, IB History SL, and standardized test preparation (ACT and SAT). When I'm not teaching in the classroom, I'm usually playing with my dog, watching or playing soccer, keeping an eye on the weather in Seattle, or traveling abroad.
