I have a B.A. in philosophy from the University of California at Santa Cruz and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Colorado State University. My GPA was 3.43 at UCSC and 3.38 at CSU.
Experience
I've tutored at multiple Boys and Girls Clubs since 2010. I was also the mechanical engineering department tutor at Colorado State University for two and a half years. I realize that each person learns in their own way and you need to approach each student as an Individual. As a tutor, I try to come up with a variety of approaches to a problem and teach the student each one until there is a "Eureka!" moment. There's a flash of recognition and with a little practice that knowledge becomes imbedded and can be drawn upon for future assignments and tests.
