Experience

I graduated with a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Anthropology. I am currently enrolled in the University of Washington's Biocultural Anthropology PhD program, with a focus in medical anthropology and global health. I believe the key to effective learning is the ability for diverse academic specialties to collaborate and deliver course options ideally suited to a student's interests and ultimate goals. Subject matter that is relevant to the nuances of specific degree programs and their applications to successful career futures is critical to the overall results of a student's learning. I have a keen knack for scientific and creative processes, and am fascinated by how each of those seems to thrive when working with or being influenced by one another. I am also skilled in science and biology courses, anthropology, chemistry, reading, English, writing, poetry, AP English and literature, algebra, geometry, and various general math coursework. I strive to bring a lively sense of humor, along with enthusiastic inspiration to my classes. My hobbies and interests include social dancing, teaching dancing, writing, and reading.
