Occidental College - BA, Biochemistry

In order for a student to be successful, they need a tutor who will listen and create an engaging environment. My tutoring style involves just this. I am a patient person who is willing to build a trust between myself and my students. It is important to be encouraging and show them what they are capable of achieving in order to help the student build up their own self-confidence.While living in the Los Angeles area, I have the opportunity to assist middle school and high school students in English and math for four years. My primary focus is in math and I am available to help in algebra 1-2, calculus, geometry, elementary and middle school math, pre-calculus, trig, and differential equations. However, my skills are not limited to mathematics. I can also tutor in Russian, English, writing, language, essay preparation, study skills, biochemistry, and science. In the past, I have attended Occidental College. I currently live in Seattle, Washington. In my free time, I like to practice yoga, read, go on hikes, and watch TED talks.
