Education
Received my Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology at the University of Portland. Senior thesis course focused on Evolution. Began undergraduate school at Saint Mary's College in California, before transferring to UP, where I then graduated in the class of 2014. Competed as a runner for both institutions on a student-athlete scholarship.
Experience
Taught health courses at local high schools in my first year of undergrad studies at Saint Mary's College in California, and absolutely loved it! In addition to teaching High School students, I have experience tutoring elementary age kids in all subjects from various private nanny positions. While I majored in Biology, I also greatly enjoy math and have taken many related courses (up to Calc III). I am currently looking into tutoring again as I study for my MCAT's and prepare for medical school applications.
