Experience
I am presently a junior in college studying Chemistry from the University of Washington. My goal is to earn my PhD in Chemistry. From my experiences as a student, I have found that individuals have challenges with courses that are lecture-based only. I believe that they learn in many different ways, and I use the learning styles that are best for the individual, whether it be kinesthetic, visual, auditory, or any combination of the three. I am committed to helping individuals who want to advance their intelligence and minds. I am able to tutor students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The subjects I tutor include piano, Japanese, Music Theory, elementary and middle school Math, Algebra 1 and 2, pre-Algebra, Science, and Physiology. I am passionate about tutoring and teaching music theory and piano. I have been learning piano since I was six years old and thoroughly enjoy it, even today. I have been playing in an orchestra since the beginning of high school. When I am not tutoring, I like to stay at home curled up in a blanket with some good books and tea. I also like to try new cuisine at restaurants, go rock climbing, walk without a purpose through the park, and take an occasional road trip.
