Education
I'm a current senior in Japanese linguistics at the University of Washington. I hold an Associate of Arts and will acquire a Bachelor of Arts degree this spring. I hope to continue into international studies in my graduate education and earn my teaching certification for secondary and post-secondary teaching of the Japanese language and culture.
Experience
I have previous tutoring experience within the primary school system, and I am a student who others go to for help with understanding in our Japanese course material. I have been speaking and studying the language for nearly 9 years, have gone to Japan, and have taken a vast quantity of Japanese language courses and background courses in Japanese culture and history. It is my passion to teach others and I would love to work with you to improve your understanding and your performance in the Japanese language, or to help you learn it right from the basics.
