Education

BS in Physics from Purdue University, 1986 Ph.D. in Physics, Univ. of Wisconsin - Madison, 1990

Experience

I have taught at the university level and tutored individuals as young as 6-years old. I am a world renown physicist with three decades of direct use of physics and technical subjects including 10 years as a research scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory. During my career, much of my time has been spent providing people with the information they need in the best way for them to understand and retain it. I hope to do the same for any students I tutor.

Hobbies

I am a working research scientist who has done groundbreaking work in space activities, cryogenics, nanotechnology, oceanography and material sciences. Currently, I am also the technical advisor on a couple major motion films - imparting scientific knowledge the fun way. Part of teaching is getting the student interested in the topic and with my broad background in exciting areas I have a lot of material to do that. My two young children (girl, 7 and boy, 12) love to hear about the scientific possibilities and what they can do with them.
