University of Washington-Seattle Campus - Bachelors, Physics, Astronomy, Mathematics , Rutgers University-New Brunswick - PHD, Astrophysics

I graduated from the University of Washington with degrees in physics and astronomy, as well as a mathematics minor. Next year I plan to attend Rutgers University in pursuit of an advanced degree in astrophysics. In the interim I remain active as a tutor and with a variety of academic-related projects. I have tutored for several years in math and science subjects, and am skilled in algebra, calculus, geometry, statistics, trigonometry, physics, astronomy, SAT and ACT prep, graduate test prep, advanced placement courses, reading and writing, and others. I strive to help students gain a full understanding of subject material and keep them engaged with lessons tailored to meet individual needs. My hobbies and interests include hiking and other outdoor activities, playing guitar, and programming. I have also hosted astronomy events at the university's observatory.
