I've been teaching and tutoring in some capacity since I was young. I worked extensively with my brothers and sisters on their coursework while growing up in a homeschool environment. I attended the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, where I graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Spanish and International Studies, and a minor in Political Science. I studied in Spain and Japan, where I also taught students aged 10-18 in English. While working with a reputable corporate company, I also taught Spanish to employees at varying levels of comprehension (from introductory to highly advanced). Though I enjoyed my time in the corporate world, I left to pursue Spanish at the graduate level. I'm a current student at Middlebury College. In addition to my studies, I'm working as a teacher and tutor in English, Public Speaking, Spanish, and Writing. I'm comfortable tutoring Spanish, ESL/ELL, Literature, Advanced Placement Spanish Literature and Culture. I'd love to work with students on their study skills, essay writing and editing, and grammar, too. In my spare time, I love to read, write, travel, dance, and hang out with loved ones. I'm also a big sports fan.
