I am a tutor located in Seattle, WA. I believe that each student has the capability to learn. It is my job to tailor the learning experience to cater to the learning styles of each student. I excel at tutoring a variety of subjects, like Algebra, Calculus, middle school Math, Pre-Calculus, Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics, Spanish, and ACT preparation. I also enjoy working with students to prepare for tests and help build solid study skills. I understand that when a student struggles academically, it can be not only frustrating for the learner, but it can negatively affect their self confidence and self esteem. As an avid learner myself, I am empathetic to this. I try to explain concepts in small, manageable bits, and present material in a way that is relatable and fun. My goal is to connect concepts and topics to the real world and make those ideas and concepts accessible for the student. I am able to gauge the student's level of understanding, and adjust my style and pace to best match their needs. When I'm not teaching others, I enjoy learning and understanding new concepts. I also enjoy soccer, painting, running, hiking, reading, and playing with my dog.
