Compass2Campus (2012) -I tutored middle school kids in all subjects during an after school program. I participated in this project through Western Washington University and earned college credit for my time tutoring. Nannying (Dec. 2013-Sept. 2015) -I have experience working with elementary to middle school aged children through nannying. My experiences as a nanny help me to find effective ways to respond to children in order to help them learn and understand concepts. I want to be a tutor because I enjoy helping people understand concepts and I find great joy in teaching. I believe that my patience and innovative thinking helps me to find ways to make the material approachable and understandable to students. I have extensive experience in biology, mathematics, physics and chemistry through both my high school and college courses. I really enjoy tutoring math but I am also willing to tutor in other subjects.

Hobbies
I have worked part-time for a farm for 5 years and I therefore enjoy both learning and educating others about having sustainable and nutritious lifestyles. I am a dancer as well and I have been training for about 17 years. I currently train at a professional level for about 3-4 hours/day. I also enjoy puzzles, films and music.
