I earned my undergraduate degree from Iowa State University. I studied Computer Engineering and shortly after college I relocated to the West Coast. I wanted to explore that area of the country. Now I have over three years of experience in the software industry. I work as a software engineer in Seattle. I also tutor computer science, English, and I like to assist students in preparing for tests.When I was growing up it was not uncommon for my sisters or my friends to ask me for assistance with their studies, so this naturally led me to tutoring. While I was in college I worked as a tutor and a teaching assistant. I have experience in GMAT Integrated Reasoning, GMAT Quantitative, Technology and Computer Science, Geography, ACT Science, AP Microeconomics, Graduate Test Prep, American Literature, and Grammar and Mechanics, to name a few.When I'm not working I like to explore my new home territory of the Pacific Northwest. While I enjoy traveling and trying things I've never done before, I like to explore close to home too because the city of Seattle has so many interesting things to see and do! I've never been skiing so I'd like to try that soon. I also like kickboxing, running, and playing with my dog.
