I'm a senior at the University of Washington, working toward a B.S. degree in General Biology with a minor in Russian Language. I'm also a pre-med student. I'll receive my degree in June 2016, then move on to medical school after taking a gap year.

Experience: 6 months as a biology tutor for Tri-Beta Honor Society 2 years of middle school/high school math tutoring SAT Score: 2060 College GPA: 3.52 High School GPA: 4.0 College coursework in introductory and upper division biology; general and organic chemistry; biochemistry; English; Russian; Statistics; Physics; Anthropology; and Calculus I and II I love the feeling of helping someone understand something, and clearing the mental blocks they have surrounding a subject. I believe it's important to get to know every student's individual needs and adapt to their learning style to make the process as efficient as possible. I started tutoring because I genuinely enjoyed the subjects and wanted to explore them further through teaching. I quickly found that teaching was even more rewarding.
