Washington State University - Associates, Physics and Mathematics

I love both physics and math. I found both of these topics to be useful and engaging while I was in college. I tutored in both of these subjects while in high school and college in informal and formal settings. Oftentimes, I worked with other physics majors in classes that I had previously taken and helping them as a peer tutor.I discovered my love for math early on in my life, when I realized that it was a series of ideas that built upon others. My love for physics didn't come until my senior year of college, when I found its nature of being predictable fascinating as well. Because of that predictability, it allows physicists to predict things like black holes, as Einstein did, or where a rocket may land based on an angle. We can also use physics to explain many of the different mysteries of the world.Beyond math and physics, I am also able to tutor in writing and editing. I have worked with friends and family in an informal setting to work on research paper and essay editing, as well as techniques for this type of writing. In my spare time, I enjoy playing videogames, reading sci-fi and fiction works, and spending time with my friends.
