I'm currently attending Bastyr University for a degree in Nutrition. As part of the program, I've been volunteering alongside a Naturopath as well as volunteering at Food Banks and teen food shelters. I believe that food is medicine and exercise this belief with my daily food choices. I'm currently enrolled in courses such as Organic Chemistry, Cultural Perspectives, and Whole Foods and have previously taken introductory Nutrition courses, as well as a Chemistry series, Biology series (including Microbiology), and math.

Nutrition is truly one of my greatest passions! However, outside of that, I enjoy making artwork, reading, going on walks, TRAVELING (I love the beach!), and spending time with my husband and kitty. I love cooking and going out to meals- I guess you could say I love food :) In terms of my career, I hope to work with expecting mothers and infants on their nutrition and the importance of good health right from the start! I love children and spent time working at a day care as well as nannying while growing up.
