Taught the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years of language sequences as well as discussion sections for a few culture classes. -4 years experience tutoring students in German. -Taken pedagogy and practicum courses for teaching foreign languages. -Scores: GRE - 1450, SAT - 1420, ACT - 33, AP Physics (Calc. Based) - Mech: 4, Elec. 4, AP Calc.: 4, AP Chem. 4. -Studied abroad for a year in Germany (2003-2004). -Have also studied 2 yrs. of Italian and 1 yr. of Japanese during my masters studies. -I want to be a tutor because tutoring has been the most enjoyable job that I have ever had. I love teaching students in the one-on-one dynamic that tutoring provides. I am looking for part-time work right now, and tutoring would be great!
