Experience
I am a native of Spain, and have almost a decade worth of experience teaching the Spanish language to students in Spain, Great Britain, and the US. I have a degree in Translation and Interpreting from college in Barcelona, Spain. I then went to the UK and took training as a teacher, while teaching Spanish to high school and adult students. In addition, I have experience teaching English to Spanish speaking students, and tutored in Spain for that for a number of years. I do a lecture online for a university in Great Britain, where I talk about translating English into Spanish. I came to America in order to pursue my master's of art degree in Linguistics, with a Language Teaching Specialization. After obtaining that degree from the University of Oregon - Eugene, I took a position at South Seattle College, where I use my language skills to work with ESL students and teach Spanish. I can teach Spanish in general, and also a language that is regional to part of Spain, called Catalan. I'm a professional linguist and have experienced teaching and tutoring at pretty much every level. My hobbies include spending time with my friends, cooking, dancing, and hiking.
