I was a student tutor during my senior year. I spent two quarters as a teaching assistant in a biology lab. I also volunteered in a research lab where I taught and trained all new incoming students, where I was responsible for anywhere from two to six students a quarter. I strive to validate my students' difficulties and to give them the cognitive tools and knowledge necessary to understand troublesome concepts. I moved from Texas to the Pacific Northwest for the beautiful environments and the progressive way of mind. I used to be involved in professional gamer media where I also dabbled in competition. I exercise, do yoga (but I need to meditate more), love hiking, and enjoy all sorts of live music and comedy. I eventually want to be a college professor.
