While I greatly enjoy my time in the front of the class room, I have found that nothing compares to the one-on-one experience of tutoring. As I get to know the student I can tailor the lessons to their specific needs. The individuality of tutoring tends to make learning easier, more efficient and lasting. My degrees are in Biology (B.S.) and Molecular Pharmacology / Structural Biology (Ph.D.); with extensive coursework in Biochemistry. I have found that the most effective form of teaching is one -on-one. Interacting with students at this level provides an opportunity to personalize the learning.
