ExperienceI love to work with students and help them understand subjects they may find difficult, such as Algebra and History. I believe that giving students a good, basic knowledge of the subject we are trying to learn, as well as critical-thinking skills, are crucial components in helping them learn. I want my students to be able to approach difficult school and personal challenges with the confidence they need to solve any problem.I have a great deal of experience working with high school students in Math and Writing, and I have also taught basic Science to middle school and high school students.I am available to tutor students in Algebra 1-4, Calculus 1, Differential Equations, Geometry, Elementary Math, Middle School Math, Precalculus, Statistics, Trigonometry, Physics, Writing, Essay Editing, Literature, Grammar and Mechanics, College Essays, American History, Accounting, Competition Math, Arithmetic, Pre-Algebra, Spanish 1-4, Business, Social Studies, Languages, English, Math, Science, AP United States History, and test prep, including the SAT.I am currently a student at Seattle University, where I am earning my degree in Civil Engineering. In my free time, I love to read good books, go horseback riding, and cook.
